Saving Money for My Husband to Get Braces
My husband is 29 years old. When he was a teenager he really wanted to have braces, but his parents could not afford them. When he was in college and when he started working he also wanted to have braces done, but we could not afford them. I secretly started putting some money aside every month so that he would have the money to get his braces and I finally have enough. I do not know if the money that I have saved will cover everything, but I think that it will at least be able to cover the first costs that he will have when he goes to an orthodontist to get them. I am going to do a little bit of research on the Internet and see if I can find some clinics that are in our area that do this. I want to be able to tell him about the money and also give him some information about clinics that do braces so that he can immediately schedule an appointment.
I actually asked a friend of mine if she had any recommendations on a place that we can go because her daughter has braces. She told me that she thought that it would be a good idea if I looked on the Internet for 6 month smiles and also the name of our town. She said that a friend of hers had given her the same recommendation when she wanted to get braces for her daughter and she found a great clinic. She told me about the program that is used at that clinic and it seems like it is something that my husband would definitely be interested in. I am going to a search on the Internet for six month smiles and see what I find. My friend moved away from here a couple of years ago and so she could not give me exact information.
I think that my husband is going to be very excited and also feel very relieved. I know that he feels very self conscience about his teeth and a lot of times he will not even smile. Almost every single picture that I have of my husband is of him and not smiling. If he is smiling it is with his mouth closed. Even in the pictures that we have from our wedding he does not smile very big in them. I am sure that after he is able to visit a dentist and begin to have the procedures that he will be smiling very big and proud. I think that he would also be very interested in having some sort of teeth whitening procedures done. I think that I might have these done as well. My husband and I drink a lot of tea and coffee and so our teeth are stained slightly yellow.
